Tom focuses his practice on business law transactions & counseling, estate planning, and estate & trust administration. Tom joined Merrill, Cruttenden & Collinson, P.A. in 2008. Before that, Tom operated a solo practice, Collinson Law Office, LLC, where he focused on business law transactions and began to do estate planning. Tom has assisted companies with entity formation, operation, buyouts, and dissolution. He also assists with contract drafting and negotiations. In addition to his business law practice, Tom helps clients develop estate plans and assists clients and their families in the administration of estates and trusts, and the preparation of estate and gift tax returns. Tom has experience in drafting numerous estate planning documents including Wills and Revocable Trusts with credit shelter, marital and generation skipping provisions, and Life Insurance Trusts. Tom also helps clients with their decision and execution of Powers of Attorney and Advance Medical Directives.
Tom is a member of the Anne Arundel County, Maryland State and American Bar Associations.
